Disgusting! Press Secretary Attacks MSNBC Reporter, Says She Lacks Knowledge

Following President Trump’s tweet on Thursday morning wherein he appeared to draw a link between the Federal Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) and his allegations that his campaign was spied on by the Obama administration, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders denied any confusion by Trump even though it had contradicted the White House’s statement calling for the bill’s passage.

Hours after Trump’s original tweet, he responded with a new tweet that clarified his support for the bill, arguing that “we need it!”

When reporters asked Sanders about Trump’s apparent contradiction, she argued, “We don’t think there was a conflict at all. The President fully supports 702 and was happy to see that it passed the house today, but he does have some overall concern with the FISA program more generally.”

Sanders insisted, “The President doesn’t feel that we should have to choose between protecting American citizens and protecting their civil liberties. We weren’t confused, but some of you were.”

Speaking directly to MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson, Sanders added, “I think the premise of your question is completely ridiculous and shows the lack of knowledge you have on this issue.”
